The largest mosque

Known as UAE’s most beautiful mosque, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a religious site that plenty of locals and foreigners visit every day. This elaborate building can hold up to 40,000 worshippers at one time and is said to have been inspired by Mughal, Moorish and Persian architecture. Having gained its name from the country’s founder, the mosque was Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s idea and he rests within it.

Sir Bani Yas Island

If you consider yourself a wildlife enthusiast, then Sir Bani Yas Island is truly a stop you must make. Home to several Arabian wildlife species, you can book a stay at one of the three Abu Dhabi luxury hotels in the island, such as Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villas and the other two bases, which are also Anantara properties.

The Louvre

Sitting proudly within the Saadiyat Island cultural precinct, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is a dome-shaped museum designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel. The huge gallery space boasts several arte facts from prehistoric eras.
