Chiang Mai offers the ideal shopping experience in Thailand be it at lively night markets to modern malls. Here are a few of the retail hotspots any shopaholic should plan to visit!

Chiang Mai Night Bazaar

Held daily, the popular Night Bazaar offers a lively setting in which to purchase everything from handicrafts, clothes and jewellery to antiques, spices and samurai swords! Located a five minute walk from Anantara Chiang Mai Resort, the market also has plenty of stalls selling Thai street food.

CentralFestival Chiang Mai

Those looking for mall shopping can head to CentralFestival Chiang Mai where you will find international brands like Zara, Lacoste, Mango and Converse. There’s a Marks & Spencer here as well as dining options and an ice skating rink!

CentralPlaza Chiang Mai Airport

Easy to reach from the airport and the Old City, this mall features a few designer brands and stalls that sell items from Northern Thailand which are popular with tourists. The Tops supermarket is another draw here as is the multi-screen cinema showing both Thai and international films.
