The many restaurants dotting the region impart an excellent dining experience, and visitors can do some shopping in the boutique shops too.

A spellbinding road trip

Highway 99, which is the link between the region’s attractions and nearby communities, makes a scenic drive that’s rated as one of the most striking road trips.

The Gondola

Covering a record-breaking distance in 11 minutes, the Peak 2 Peak Gondola is a ride between the two mountain peaks. The ride looks out to the dense forests, the snow-topped mountains and the alpine lakes.

Skiing

The two mountains – Whistler and Backcomb – provide some of the best skiing in the world. The skiable terrain stretches over 3,307 hectares, and a trip to Whistler Village has to be at least a weeklong.
