Given that you have the ability to visit a hotel, take the time to adequately understand the safety protocols that may be in place for your safety as well as those around you.

Do your research!

The easiest way to stay on top of health and safety standards is to do some research about the place you are visiting. This may be understanding the safety protocols, but also the types of local spikes that may be taking place.
If you are a part of the Ascott Star Rewards Membership Programme you may be able to get some good deals on any Discover ASR properties nearby.

Understand the hotel policies

While there may be regional policies, there is a strong chance that any hotel you will be staying at will be working under their own set of rules and standards, so be sure to check prior to making a booking!

Always wear a mask!

Just because you are staying at a hotel should not mean you can ignore the overall rules of being safe. Wear your mask!

Ask for empty rooms

What this means is that you should ask specifically for a room that has previously been unused for several days.
