 How it Started!

Dubai’s first noteworthy mention of civilisation is known to be 800 Bani Yas tribe members who turned the natural harbour into a fishing village in 1833.  Later, Arabian nomads joined them by settling near the creek. By the 1960s, Dubai’s economy soared from trade and oil revenues.
