Melbourne is one of the most beautiful cities in Australia and it’s quite easy to see why as there is so much to do and see and it’s such a multicultural city. Here’s how you can make the most of 5 days in Melbourne.

1. Day 1

To get your bearings around the city, try to walk as much as possible, starting from Queen Victoria Market which is a large open-air market that is considered one of the landmarks of Melbourne. You can shop for wine, cheese and the famous Melbourne coffee.

2. Day 2

Take Day 2 to check out the art and culture scene. There are plenty of museums like the National Gallery of Victoria and the Melbourne Museum among others.

3. Day 3

Step out of one of the hotels in Marvel Stadium where you should be staying at, and head straight to Fitzroy for a cool, alternative angle of Melbourne. There are beautiful alleyways and classy restaurants that you should check out.

4. Day 4

Sleep in at Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel and have a late morning lazing about, enjoying the beaches at St. Kilda and Brighton. If you are interested in a hike, take a walk from Brighton to St. Kilda.

5. Day 5

On the last day, take a day trip out of town. Rent a car and enjoy a tour of the suburbs and wild countryside, one of the best is the Great Ocean Road Day Tour.
