Obey the local customs- always
Qatar is an Islamic country and it pays a huge emphasis on local cultures and traditions. All women must wear clothes in such a way that they cover their shoulders, upper arms, and knees but, if you are someone staying at any of the hotels in Doha Qatar, don’t worry, you don’t need to adhere to them when you are in the hotel.

They have special weekends
People in Qatar work from Sundays to Thursdays, which is quite odd. If you stay at a hotel such as Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli, observe how busy the restaurants get during Fridays and Saturdays, which is their weekend.

The ideal time to plan your visit
The climate in Qatar is almost uniform, but from December to February, it is generally cooler. The hottest months are June, July, and August, and if you plan your tour during these months, make sure you are ready for that.

Learn some common terms- that’ll be helpful
People in Qatar do understand English, but they are more familiar with Arabic. So learn some phrases such as Aywah (Ok), Asif (Sorry), Yasar (Left) and Yameen (Right) before you go, for they’ll be helpful during your tour!
