Planning the Visit

Located in Jalan Teluk Ramunia in the Malaysian state of Johor, this site is about a 90-minute drive from the Johor Bahru Checkpoint. Local properties such as Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas are only around 25 minutes away from the farm which is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Ostrich Encounters

At the Desaru Ostrich Farm, you will find caretakers who also act as tour guides and offer fascinating insights. In Desaru, attractions such as these are ideal for a family visit since you can get up close with these birds; apart from feeding a couple of ostriches with corn kernels or veggies, you can take a picture or selfie with them too!
