Metro

Dubai has two metro lines called the Red and the Green, giving access to most attractions in the city. They function on weekdays from 5 am to 1.15 pm, and the fares vary between 3-4 AED. The Red Line takes you from Rashidiya to Jebel Ali Port, and the Green takes you from Etisalat to Creek Metro Station. Bus

Buses are the most convenient method to get by, and you will find an extensive network that takes you almost everywhere. There are 119 internal lines for 1518 fleets, in standard, articulated, double-decker, and metro link buses. They operate from 4 pm to 1 am and can cost AED 7-20.

Abras        

Possibly the cheapest way to cross the waters while immersing yourself in Dubai’s culture and heritage, Abras are ferries operating in Dubai that cost around AED 1-2 per person. There are two routes they take, Bur Dubai Abra Station to Deira Old Souk Abra Station, and from there to Al Sabkha Abra Station.
