Check out the Katara Mosque

The mosque was created by Turkish architect Zeynep Fadilloglu, who is thought to be the first woman to specialize in mosque design. The mosque combines Persian and Turkish tile and enamel work in blue and gold tones, providing a striking contrast to the nearby structures.

Check out the Gold Mosque

This is the smaller but no less striking second mosque in Katara. It has gold tiles that gleams in the sunlight towards the amphitheatre.
