El Jem Amphitheatre Is One of The World’s Largest  

Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the El Jem Amphitheatre dates to the Roman Empire and is amongst the largest amphitheatres on the planet. Constructed out of stone blocks, this impressive structure was at the time, only smaller in size than the colosseum in Rome; it used to be able to hold up to 35,000 spectators and still inspires awe.
