Although this is the third largest city in Vietnam, many travellers don’t add this to their itinerary. There are so many things to see and do here as this city is the perfect blend of modern and traditional. Here are some unique things to try when you’re here.

Visit the Ba Na Hills

These hills are a popular attraction among tourists who come here. You can take a wonderful hike up the mountains past cool forests and scenic lookout spots. Once you reach the top you will be rewarded with spectacular views that stretch as far as the eye can see. You can even take a cable car ride to the top if you’re not too keen on mountain climbing.

Have a coffee at Cong Caphe

There are so many coffee shops with unique themes and great food all over Vietnam. Café Cong Caphe is most popular in Da Nang due to its communist theme. Aside from the Instagram-worthy pictures, you get great coffee and a view like no other. Their signature yoghurt coffee is a must-try if you’re open to trying new flavours.

Take a train ride

The best way to see the beauty of Da Nang is to take a luxurious first-class train in Vietnam. You can enjoy the enchanting city and captivating landscapes while sipping on a chilled glass of wine and gourmet meals. You can find carriages like The Vietage that offer three-course meals prepared fresh, head and shoulder massages as well as private sleeper booths and a fully stocked bar.

Watch the show at Dragon Bridge

The Dragon Bridge stretches over 666m. Don’t worry the giant dragon featured on this magnificent bridge is meant to bring good luck and prosperity. It is known to be the longest bridge of its kind. What’s special about the bridge in Da Nang is that every weekend at 9 pm you can walk down here and watch the dragon spit fire and breathe fire through its mouth.
