The Petronas Twin Towers

No KL tour will be complete without a visit to the famous Petronas twin towers. These are twin sky-scrapers that stand at 452 metres in the centre of the city. With 88 storeys, this building was designed by Cesar Pelli& Associates and won the title – “tallest building in the world’ in 2016, but has now been replaced by the Burj Kalifa in Dubai. The towers most significant thing is the sky bridge that runs across the 41st and 42nd floors, that provides amazing views of the city skyline.

All of these shopping complexes have immaculate food courts that provide nothing but the best cuisines. A few malls to make note of are China Town, Berjaya Times Square, KLCC, The Pavilion and Mid Valley Mega Mall.

Batu Caves

One of the most frequented tourist spots in KL is the Batu Caves. This is a limestone hill that contains three major caves and several smaller ones. These caves are said to be one of the most popular Hindu shrines – outside of India. Dedicated to Lord Murugan, Batu Caves is a must-visit at least once on your visit to KL.
