This is regarded as the most important source of water in Dhofar and one of the Oman attractions. The water flowing from the hillside gathers in a pond at the foot of the Jebel. The pond is so mesmerisingly adorned by lilies, pink blooms and blue blooms. It also attracts dragonflies which in turn invite kingfishers. The vicinity is facilitated by the likes of Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara.

A picnic spot

Those visiting at the end of Monsoon Season aren’t likely to see many tourists. This makes the place so calm and serene. The park located nearby shaded by tall trees is an ideal picnic spot.

What to wear

Oman is an Islamic country. Therefore, modest clothing is recommended.

Getting to Salalah

Flights are available directly from Muscat as well as Dubai. This is the cheapest and the easiest way of getting to Salalah.

Transport

There isn’t a fully-fledged public transport system. Hiring a car with a driver to show you around is the most convenient option.
